Here's what to expect in your position:

  • Straightening, rolling, hand bending, painting, cleaning and assembly of various components;
  • Perform regular and precise sanding or deburring of production parts;
  • Finish parts (tapping, chamfering, etc.);
  • Produce on PEM machines, press drills, rollers, rivet nuts, and pop-riveting machines;
  • Perform finish sanding of highly aesthetic parts, we want it to look good! 😉 ;
  • Perform setups and adjust all machines at the start and during production independently;
  • Prepare parts and packaging for shipping;
  • Inspect parts using measuring instruments according to the drawing and control sheets, your thoroughness is needed;
  • Perform difficult assemblies and be able to lift heavy loads;
  • Respect the rules of SST in force (wearing caps, glasses, etc...), you understand that your health is important to us;
  • Make the transition to the next shift, and don't forget, we work as a team! (Verbal or written);
  • Participate in finding solutions to departmental problems, we always need good ideas 😊;
  • Provide training to new employees (if required).

Desired skills:

  • Experience in bodywork (an asset);
  • Experience in the field of metal (an asset);
  • Possess very good manual dexterity and skills;
  • Be physically fit (heavy lifting, + 30 lbs up to 100 lbs);
  • Have initiative and attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in reading drawings and measuring tools;
  • Knowledge of " Press drill ", " Buffer ", etc...(an asset);
  • Be methodical and orderly;
  • Teamwork skills and a strong sense of accountability.
