Progressive die
To produce your parts in large series, a progressive die is the preferred tooling. Continuously fed by a metal coil, the tooling progressively shapes the part from station to station. The feed of the material is automatic, which makes this process highly efficient to minimize the cost of your parts.
Manual transfer die
For smaller quantities, it is more economical to buy manual transfer tooling for sheet metal forming. As the name implies, parts are manually transferred from one step to the next inside the die. It is often recommended for complex and/or deep parts.
